What REAL clients SAY ABOUT MOIRA

“When I was just recently separated from my former spouse, I felt very lost and confused.  I consulted with several attorneys in my home state, and, although I am sure they gave me competent legal advice, I needed something more…I needed inner strength. A good friend of mine suggested that I reach out to someone of whom she knew:  That someone was Moira. Not knowing how she could help me, I nonetheless made a telephone appointment with her.  After the first hour of talking to Moira, I immediately felt much better.  I continued to work with Moira for several months on a regular basis, as I proceeded through what wound up being a high conflict divorce.  I am confident that it was Moira's assistance that kept the legal fees way down and helped me to develop that inner strength that I really needed to resolve what was truly one of the most difficult disputes of my life.  Thank you, Moira, for all of your help!”

“Going through a divorce is tough, even if you have a good attorney.  I contacted Moira for guidance on the many problems with my ex that I was having outside of the court process.  She helped me to better understand my situation and gave me great suggestions for ways to approach with my ex that made me feel more in control of things.  The suggestions worked, and I am grateful for that.”

“Moira helped me realize that I cannot fix the problems that exist in my dysfunctional family. The only thing that I can do is control what I say and do and try to protect myself from the conflict.  She really helped me to move forward from a place where I had been stuck for a really long time.”

“I really should have listened to Moira the first time that I spoke to her.  But, of course, I thought I knew better.  Looking back, as I was telling her all about the long-time dispute I had with my ex, Moira really listened to me, and she completely ‘got’ what it was that I was saying had been happening in my relationship with my ex.  She advised me to be extremely careful and predicted that, based on what I shared with her, my ex was (more likely than not) going to file a restraining order against me.  I heard what Moira had said, but, truthfully, I did not actually *listen* to her. With hindsight, I really did not have the situation with my ex under control. And like that, the restraining order, the very one that Moira predicted my ex might file against me, showed up in my hands not long after I consulted with Moira.  All I can say is that at least I know better now so that (hopefully) I can see the signs to avoid getting blindsided again in the future.”

“I contacted Moira for help when I was thinking about getting a divorce. Although she could not give me legal advice, her legal background and experiences with the law (both personally and professionally) resulted in her being able to give me the information that I needed to help me decide whether I should continue to try to work on my marriage. She was not only kind and empathetic, but she was also practical and strategic. The time we spent together was well worth it for me.”
